On average, people consume around 22 tablespoons of sugar daily. It is true that our brain needs everything in right proportion for proper functioning of it but if excess of anything reaches brain than it will not function properly. As our brain can’t produce its own energy, it needs a sound supply of sugar but eating too much calories in the form of sugar can prevent us from eating healthier foods which might lead to obesity by depriving our body of essential nutrients.
